The vision of The African Fashion Show Denver is to empower and give a platform to the African business owners living in Colorado to let their light shine. These include fashion designers, aspiring models, musicians, hair and makeup artists and poets, dancers, drummers and chefs. In reference to Matthew 5:15-16, A lit lamp should be put on a stand, to give light to everyone in the house and SHINE!

The fashion show events are held annually where fashion designers showcase their designs to Coloradoans. The African culture experience can also be got by watching traditional dancers or tasting authentic foods from many different countries of Africa. In ten years’, existence, so far, there have been more than ten countries represented. These include, Northern Sudan, Southern Sudan, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Zambia, Nigeria, Ghana, Morocco, Cameron, Mali, Congo, Uganda, Kenya and Ethiopia. All Coloradoans are invited to come and learn more about the African culture through The African Fashion Show Denver events.
