     Oromo Dance Colorado will be  performing Oromo dance that is native to millions of  Ethiopians. Oromo dance is also referred to as The Dance of Mother Earth. Also vendor tables will be available if you want to buy some African jewelry, clothes etc.

          About Us

          CEO of The African Fashion Show Denver

          Edith Muyinda is the  founder of The African Fashion Show Denver and African Fashion Week Denver. Our goal is to bring Coloradans and Africans together through, music, dance, food plus "African high fashion"! The African Fashion Show Denver started in 2015 with emphasis of exposing the outside world to African culture through fashion. Edith is a fashion designer who owns Byasima Couture. Annually,  African designers in Colorado come together to showcase their designs to the world.

          Our first fashion show in 2015, 5% of the admission fee was donated to the development center in Kyotera Uganda- Africa. The center houses orphans.

          In 2016, we donated to a local center in Denver, Colorado that helps refugees in various ways. Edith founder of The African Fashion Show Denver and Director of the center Melissa Theesen.
